About the Gallagher Foundation:
The Gallagher Foundation was founded in 2001 by Ellen and Jerry Gallagher with the aim of providing scholarships to university students in three countries: South Africa, Mexico, and Turkey. The foundation began awarding scholarships in 2002 in South Africa, followed by Mexico in 2004 and Turkey in 2005. The primary purpose of these scholarships is to assist young leaders in their studies, believing that these individuals will positively impact their developing countries by promoting peace and prosperity.
In South Africa, students awarded the Gallagher Foundation scholarship have the opportunity to study at the University of Cape Town (UCT). The foundation supports students in various fields, including Architecture, Commerce, Education, Engineering, History, Law, Language, Mathematics, Medicine, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Science, and Technology.

Eligibility Criteria for the Gallagher Foundation Scholarship:
