Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for the Joe Morolong Assmang Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. South African citizenship.
  2. Age between 18 and 35 years.
  3. Reside within the Joe Morolong Local Municipality in the Northern Cape.
  4. Completion of Matric (Grade 12) or currently in Matric.
  5. Pursuing or intending to pursue full-time studies in one of the specified fields for the 2024-2025 academic year.
  6. Enrollment at a recognized and accredited South African university, university of technology, or college.
  7. Meet the minimum admission requirements of the selected institution for the chosen qualification.
  8. Financial need and a historically disadvantaged background.
  9. Not in receipt of any other bursary funding or student loan.
  10. Not employed by Assmang or the Joe Morolong Local Municipality.
