About KMF High School

The Kay Mason Foundation (KMF), established in 1999, aims to provide educational opportunities and psycho-social support to talented South African students from disadvantaged backgrounds. KMF offers high school scholarships to help these students overcome barriers and achieve academic excellence. The foundation partners with top South African schools to connect deserving students with quality education.

KMF High School Scholarships 2025

KMF invites applications for the Scholarship Programme for High School 2025. The scholarships are open to students entering Grade 8 in the academic year 2025. KMF screens applicants and conducts tests for eligible candidates. Successful candidates progress to the Selection and Support Program, which includes classes and assessments in the Bellville area on Saturdays. Scholarships will be officially awarded in early 2024, and selected candidates will join the Senior Scholar Preparation Programme.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the KMF High School Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

South African citizenship
Academic excellence with a minimum overall average of 65% in First and Second Language, as well as Mathematics and Science
Currently in Grade 6 in 2025-2026
Reside within the Western Cape (Cape Town, Boland, Helderberg, Southern Suburbs, and Northern Suburbs) and can travel to Bellville for Saturday classes and assessments
Combined household gross income of less than R17,500 per month (before deductions)

Applicants must complete the online application form available on the KMF website. Ensure all required documents are scanned and uploaded correctly before final submission. Attach the necessary documents, including proof of income, bank statements, school reports, birth certificate, ID documents, and more.
