NCP Chlorchem Bursary Programme 2024-2025
NCP Chlorchem is offering a bursary programme for the 2024-2025 academic year to Engineering students. The company encourages applications from students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and students with disabilities. The bursary is available for Undergraduate degree or National Diploma studies in the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering

Bursary Coverage and Selection Process
The bursary will cover registration fees, tuition fees, exam fees, and accommodation in university residence. It’s important to note that only successful applicants will be contacted; lack of correspondence should be regarded as an unsuccessful application.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizenship.
- Full-time study in one of the specified engineering fields.
- Enrollment at a DHET Accredited Higher Institution in South Africa.
- Financial need, with a total family income not exceeding R250,000 per year.
- Not receiving any other bursary awards or funding (including NSFAS) for 2021.
- From a previously disadvantaged social group and/or living with a disability.
Application Process
To apply, download and complete the NCP Chlorchem Bursary Application Form (Reference number: NCP- BUR#### BEING CURRENT ACADEMIC YEAR) and submit it along with the following documents:
- Certified copy of the South African ID document.
- Certified copy of the Matric certificate.
- Full tertiary academic record for current studies (on institution’s letterhead with stamp).
- Proof of enrollment or registration at a tertiary institution.
- University statement of account.
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Proof of residence.
- Certified copies of parents/guardians ID documents (if under 21 years old).
- Death certificate and affidavit for deceased parents/guardians.
- Proof of household income.
- Proof of no other bursary awards for 2024-2025.

Closing Date
The closing date for the NCP Chlorchem Bursary is 31 August. Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted.
