About the RSM Education Trust Bursary Program:
The RSM Education Trust is offering bursaries for the 2025-2026 academic year, specifically targeting black female students. The bursaries will support studies in the following fields:
- Accounting (SAICA accredited Bachelor’s degree)
- Information Technology (Bachelor of Science Honours)
The program is designed to empower female candidates pursuing education in these two key fields, helping them establish a strong foundation for their academic and professional journey.
Expenses Covered and Selection Process:
The bursary will cover various expenses, including tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation (up to a capped amount), and a living allowance (up to a capped amount). Upon completing their studies, successful candidates will be offered a training contract within RSM, and they will not be obligated to pay any remuneration to the trust during this period.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the Bursary Administrator within four weeks of the closing date. If you do not receive any feedback by then, please consider your application unsuccessful.
Eligibility Requirements for the RSM Bursary:
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:
- Female
- Black
- Completion of Matric
- Accounting students: Final year of study toward a SAICA accredited Bachelor of Accounting degree in 2025-2026 (preferably not signed with another firm)
- Information Technology students: Pursuing an Honours degree in Bachelor of Science in IT
- Strong academic performance
- Demonstrated financial need

Submit the following documents along with your completed application (all documents must be clear copies, and missing items may result in disqualification):
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Full academic record (on tertiary letterhead)
- Motivational letter (maximum 1000 words)
