List of available courses at TUT

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has issued a list of available courses for the 2019academic year.

TUT spokesperson Willa de Ruyter on Monday said that the following spots were still available:

Faculty of information and communication technology (Soshanguve campus)

National diploma in:
Computer system engineering – 40 spaces
Computer system engineering (extended programme) – 30 spaces
Information technology (mainstream) – 86 spaces
Information technology (extended programme) – 160 spaces

Faculty of humanities (Soshanguve North campus)

National diploma in:
Educational studies: Technology and vocational education – 100 spaces at a minimum APS score of 20.

Faculty of economics and finance (Ga-Rankuwa campus)

National diploma in:
Accounting – 74 spaces
Managerial accounting and finance – 95 spaces
Public sector finance – 8 spaces

Faculty of engineering and the built environment (Pretoria campus)

Higher certificate in:
Industrial engineering – 39 spaces

Management sciences (Pretoria campus)

National diploma in:
Contact centre – 33 spaces
Office management and technology – 20 spaces
Credit management (extended programme) – 20 spaces
Entrepreneurship (extended programme) – 53 spaces
Recreation management – 14 spaces
Retail business management – 90 spaces
Management services– 30 spaces

Faculty of science (Pretoria campus)

National diploma in:
Agriculture: Crop production – 30 spaces
Agriculture: Development and extension – 13 spaces
Game ranch management – 17 spaces
Bachelor environmental sciences – 20 spaces

Higher certificate in:
Dental assisting (block mode) – 21 spaces

Faculty of science (Arcadia campus)

National diploma in:
Food technology extended – 55 spaces
Environmental sciences (extended programme) – 20 spaces
Water care extended – 38 spaces
Industrial physics – 44 spaces

The TUT said it would provide regular updates on remaining spots on its website.

Applications must be made on www.tut.ac.za or through the central application system on cach.dhet@gov.za.

The online applications opened on Monday, 8 January and registration process will start on Monday, 15 January.
