The CAM Department fosters a deep dive into communication from a theoretical perspective, exploring the nuances of verbal and non-verbal exchanges, cultural influences, and the resulting impact on societal interactions.

CAM is not just theory; it is about making sense of human connections and the societal ripples they create. This scholarly bedrock enriches the understanding of applied communication subjects (such as Journalism, Film, and Marketing Communication) within a larger research framework. Moreover, CAM offers advanced study paths including Honours, Masters, and Doctoral degrees, enhancing its relevance in both academic and professional realms.

The convergence of the Department of Communication and the Department of Journalism, Film and Television in 2021 gave rise to the revamped CAM major. This evolution was sparked by foresight into the future of communication studies and journalistic practice, considering the seismic shifts induced by technological progress. Our course offerings are meticulously curated to transform students into versatile content creators, equipped with a comprehensive skill set tailored for the digital age.
