The National Qualifications Framework (NQF) is a plan developed in response to the evolving educational landscape. This system combines education and training. It also keeps track of your academic achievements and guarantees that they are acknowledged.
The NQF levels are numbered 1 through 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. The various levels symbolize the various levels of education and qualifications attained by the individual.

A National Diploma or an Advance Certificate is at Level 6. Students who have completed a Nation Diploma program are eligible for this diploma.
NQF level 7 is equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma. To be eligible for this, you must have finished a degree program at a university or other higher learning institution.
Level 8 is an Honours Degree earned after successfully completing an honors program at a higher education institution.
A Masters Degree is at Level 9. This is given to students who have completed a Masters program in their chosen faculty.
