The company recognizes the importance of nurturing the growth of South African youth to address the country’s skill shortage. As a result, Pernod Ricard has launched bursary programs to contribute to economic and social development in South Africa.
Pernod Ricard Bursary 2025-2026
Pernod Ricard is inviting students to apply for its bursary program for the upcoming academic year. A bursary program worth R7 million has been established to address the skill shortage in South Africa. The bursary aims to support university students from disadvantaged backgrounds in completing their full-time undergraduate degree courses.
The bursary covers full-time undergraduate studies, with priority given to degrees in engineering, technology, finance, and legal fields. Students pursuing degrees in roles such as internal auditors, commercial finance managers, quality control managers, corporate counsel (in-house), senior traders, engineering project directors, tax consultants, or compliance officers are also encouraged to apply.
The Human Resource Director of Sub-Saharan Africa and South Africa believes in the immense potential of South Africa’s youth. Investing in their development will contribute to the country’s long-term growth. The bursary program aims to provide a platform for South African youth to develop critical skills that will contribute to the growth of both the country and the business sector.
The Pernod Ricard bursary program covers university tuition fees, exam fees, registration fees, meal allowances, and sundry allowances (R15,000 per annum for sundry expenses and study materials). Shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews, and selected candidates will also have the opportunity to participate in an internship program at Pernod Ricard.
