Moore SAICA Trainee Bursary Programme 2025-2026
Moore offers a bursary programme to students who are pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification accredited by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). Successful candidates of the bursary programme will have the opportunity to become trainees in Moore’s Audit and Assurance team in different locations, including Cape Town, Century City, and Milnerton.
Bursary Requirements and Eligibility
To be eligible for the Moore SAICA Trainee Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate SAICA Accredited Qualification Programme.
- Have achieved a “6” or “7” for Mathematics and Accounting in Matric (Grade 12).
- Attain a minimum of 70% average for Matric (excluding Life Orientation) and at least 70% in pure Mathematics.
- For first-year applicants, a minimum GPA of 65% and 65% in Financial Accounting is required.
- Second-year applicants need an average of at least 65%, with a minimum of 60% in Financial Accounting.
- Third-year applicants must have a minimum average of 60%, with 60% in Financial Accounting.
- Possess a proactive learning attitude and self-motivation.
- Demonstrate good communication skills.
- Perform effectively under pressure.
- Contribute positively to a supportive team culture.
- Pay attention to detail.
- Be computer literate (Microsoft Office skills).
- Uphold strong ethical values.
- Exhibit good time management and interpersonal skills.
