About WOA Fuels & Oils:
WOA Fuels & Oils specializes in the wholesale supply and delivery of petroleum and petroleum-related products both nationally and internationally. It is part of the Women of Africa Group, which is a Black Empowered organization with 100% women shareholding. The Women of Africa Group also offers various other services, including Women in Logistics, Women In Logistics Car Carrier, WOA Construction, WOA Insurance Brokers, WOA Pharmaceuticals, and Women in Engineering.
About the W.O.A Fuels & Oils Bursary Program:
WOA Fuels & Oils is offering a bursary program to provide financial and non-financial support to help students achieve their goal of studying at a tertiary institution (offsite or onsite). The bursaries will be awarded for studies in the following fields:
- BCom
- Marketing
- SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, Quality)
- Supply Chain
Successful candidates will be required to sign a bursary agreement with the company. WOA Fuels & Oils reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the bursary program without prior notice and has the right to change the selection process and approval criteria. Any changes will be posted on the company’s website.
Eligibility Requirements for the WOA Fuels & Oils Bursary:
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed Matric
- Achieved a minimum result of 60% for English in Matric
- Achieved a minimum result of 50% for all other subjects in Matric
- Be registered to study in one of the specified fields
- Be registered to study at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Be in financial need
- Be from a rural area and a previously disadvantaged background
- Students living with disabilities are encouraged to apply
How to Apply for the WOA Fuels & Oils Bursary:
To apply, eligible students must submit clear copies of the following documentation:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Proof of tertiary registration (on the institution’s letterhead)
- Parents or guardians’ ID documents (certified copy)
- Parents or guardians’ proof of income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed or an informal trader, proof of pension or grant if applicable)
There is no application form to be completed for this bursary application; students only need to submit the listed documents.

Closing Date for the WOA Fuels & Oils Bursary:
The closing date for applications is 30 June. Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted, so be sure to apply before the closing date to ensure your application is considered.
