Afrimat Iron Ore Engineering Bursaries 2024-2025
Afrimat Iron Ore is offering bursaries for the year 2024-2025 in the fields of Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Metallurgical Engineering. The bursaries aim to provide financial support for study materials, tuition fees, and prescribed textbooks. Successful candidates may also have the opportunity to participate in internships or vacation work to gain industry exposure and experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be in Grade 12/Matric in 2024-2025 and intend to study Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Must have a valid South African ID.
- Must be a resident of the Northern Cape.
- Must have achieved a minimum average of 70% in Science and Maths in Grade 11.
- The bursary is awarded provisionally, subject to passing Matric with an average of 70% in Science and Maths and obtaining final acceptance at an accredited South African university.
- Applicant must meet the medical fitness standards of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company.
