ABOUT THE COMPANY – ANGLO AMERICAN COAL

Anglo American plc is a British multinational mining company that holds a significant presence in the global mining industry. Anglo American Coal is a division of Anglo American and owns and operates several colliery mine sites in South Africa. These sites include Goedehoop, Greenside, Isibonelo, Mafube, Zibulo, and Khwezela Colliery. They primarily produce thermal coal, with a focus on the domestic market, and export a smaller portion to international markets.

Anglo American Coal is offering a bursary program for top-performing students pursuing studies in the Engineering and Mining sector. The bursary aims to provide financial assistance to students who require funding for their studies and practical experience in the field of mining.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ANGLO AMERICAN COAL BURSARY

To qualify for the Anglo American Coal bursary, applicants must meet these minimum criteria:

Be a South African citizen
Have completed Matric
Be studying full-time in one of the specified fields of study
Be in your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study
Maintain an excellent academic record
Study at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa
Demonstrate financial need
Show passion for your chosen field of study
