Thank you for providing the information about the South African Government’s scholarship agreement with the Hungarian Government. Here’s a breakdown of the key details about the scholarship:
The South African Government and Hungarian Government have partnered to offer 100 scholarships to South African students to study at public universities in Hungary.
The scholarships will be awarded in the following ratio: 30 for Bachelor’s degrees, 60 for Master’s degrees, and 10 for PhD degrees.
Most courses will be taught in English. However, for courses taught in Hungarian, selected students will be required to participate in a year-long preparatory course before starting their studies.
The scholarships are available in various fields of study at different degree levels.
- Bachelor’s degrees: Agricultural science and food science, engineering and information technology, natural sciences and sustainable environment.
- Master’s degrees: Adult education, agricultural science and food science, economics, business and management studies, tourism, engineering (mining engineering, information technology), human resources development, Hungarian language studies, international relations and European studies, natural sciences (biotechnology, bioenergetics, and renewable energy), physical education and coaching.
