Donald White/ Mandla A. Ndwanya Memorial Fund Bursary 2025-2026
About the Donald White/ Mandla A. Ndwanya Memorial Fund:
The Donald White/ Mandla A. Ndwanya Memorial Fund was established in 2012 to honor Donald White, a career educator, and Mandla Andrew Ndwanya, an individual with a strong legacy and passion for business studies in South Africa. The fund was created by White’s family as a nonprofit organization in the United States in 2017, forming a board responsible for making significant decisions benefiting young South Africans. The primary objective of the fund is to raise charitable donations to support students and raise global awareness among American and South African students.
The fund focuses on providing support to learners in Nyanga/Gugulethu and neighboring areas by supplying uniforms and shoes to students from Mkhanyiseli Primary School and John Pama Primary School. It also offers scholarships to American and South African students, helping them pursue higher education at colleges and universities. Additionally, the fund provides internships to U.S.-based college students in Cape Town through its partner Volunteer Adventure Corps (VAC).
