KnowBe4 Cybersecurity Scholarship 2025-2026:
KnowBe4 is offering the Cybersecurity Scholarship 2025-2026 for Veterans, Guards, Reserve, and Spouses in collaboration with the Center of Cyber Safety and Education. The scholarship aims to support individuals pursuing degrees in cybersecurity, information assurance, or related fields. It provides financial assistance to eligible candidates.
Scholarship Amount:
- One tuition/fee scholarship of $10,000
The scholarship covers tuition, fees, books, electronics, and up to $3,000 of the $10,000 may be allocated for on-campus housing. The scholarship may be awarded as a one-time payment or in installments over multiple semesters, including the summer session.
Selection Criteria:
Applicants for the KnowBe4 Cybersecurity Scholarship 2025-2026 will be evaluated based on three criteria:
- Merit
- Passion
- Financial Need
The scholarship is a one-time award, and students must reapply for each subsequent year if they wish to be considered for another scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the KnowBe4 Military, Veteran, or Spouse Cybersecurity Scholarship 2025-2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an honorably discharged U.S. Military Veteran, including Reservists and National Guard personnel, by October 31.
- Be a spouse or surviving spouse of an honorably discharged or active Military, Veteran, Reserve, or Guard member.
- Have former or current service in the National Guard or Reserve.
- Be pursuing or planning to pursue a degree focused on cybersecurity, information assurance, or related fields.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident.
- Be an undergraduate junior, freshman, senior, sophomore, or graduate student (Ph.D. students are not eligible).
- Attend a university or college in the United States.
- May attend a university/college online or on-campus.
- May attend a university/college part-time or full-time.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale (or an equivalent ranking on a comparable scale).
- KnowBe4 and Center for Cyber Safety and Education employees are not eligible.

Required Documents:
Applicants should ensure that they attach the following documents along with their application:
- Unofficial transcripts from their most recent or current academic institution (official transcripts will be required if the scholarship is awarded).
- Resume/CV (maximum 3 pages; do not include links to publications).
- Academic references are preferred, but applicants may submit a professional letter of recommendation covering specific points.
- Responses to essay questions provided in the application (each answer should not exceed 250 words).
Important Note:
If an applicant is shortlisted for the scholarship, they will need to participate in a short video interview with KnowBe4. To do this, applicants must have access to a device with camera capability, such as a phone, tablet, or computer.
Closing Date:
The application deadline for the KnowBe4 Cybersecurity Scholarship 2025-2026 is August 28, at 11:59 PM ET. Applicants will be notified of the scholarship results by October 31.
