About the Openserve Bursary Program:
Openserve is offering the Openserve Centre of Excellence (CoE) Undergraduate Bursary Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. This bursary program covers undergraduate studies in the following fields:
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering (Light Current)
- Information Technology
Eligibility Requirements for the Openserve Bursary:
Applicants must meet the following minimum eligibility criteria:
- South African citizenship
- Completion of Matric
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program in one of the specified fields
- In the 2nd or 3rd year of study
- For 2nd-year students: A minimum of 70% in Technology or Engineering subjects and a minimum overall average of 65% in the 1st year
- For 3rd-year students: A minimum of 70% in Technology and Engineering subjects and a minimum overall average of 65% in the 2nd year
- Intention to pursue a postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in the same field after completing undergraduate studies
- Studying at a recognized and accredited South African university
