Foskor Bursary South Africa 2025-2026
Foskor, established in 1951 by the Industrial Development Corporation, stands as South Africa’s sole producer of phosphate ore, phosphoric acid, and granular fertilizer. With mining operations in Phalaborwa, Limpopo, and processing activities in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, Foskor’s primary focus revolves around phosphate rock mining, phosphate-based fertilizers production, and phosphoric acid production, catering predominantly to the agricultural sector.
Foskor Bursary Programme 2025-2026
Foskor invites applications for its bursary programme for the academic years 2025-2026, aimed at students pursuing Bachelor’s Degree studies in specific fields that align with the company’s operational needs and future talent requirements.

- Accounting (BCom)
- Electrical Engineering
- Law
- Management Science (majoring in Business Analytics) (BCom)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgy
- Mining Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
Selection Process:
Candidates shortlisted for the Foskor Bursary will be contacted by 21 April. Applicants not receiving feedback by this date should consider their application unsuccessful. The selection process is geared towards identifying deserving candidates who meet the specified academic criteria and demonstrate potential for future success in their chosen fields.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Completion of Matric.
- A minimum of 60% in Mathematics and Science or Commercial subjects at a higher grade.
- Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate program within one of the specified fields of study.
- Enrollment at a recognised and accredited University in South Africa.
- Not in receipt of any other bursary funding.
- Open to all talented and deserving students regardless of race or gender.
Application Process:
Eligible students may apply by submitting the following documents:
- Certified copy of ID document.
- Certified copy of the Matric certificate.
- A one-page abbreviated CV including contact details.
- Proof of registration at a tertiary institution, indicating the field of study (on the institution’s letterhead).
Note: There is no specific application form for this bursary; applicants are only required to submit the listed documents.
