About the Loeries:
The Loeries is a non-profit company that administers awards for the brand communications industry across Africa and the Middle East. Established in 1978, the Loeries has become the most prestigious creative festival in the region. Over four decades, it has been dedicated to fostering creativity by recognizing excellence in the industry.
In 2008, the Loeries launched the Creative Future Scholarship program to provide financial assistance to talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing brand communication qualifications.
About the Loeries Creative Future Scholarship:
The Loeries, in partnership with four education partners (the AAA School of Advertising, Red & Yellow, Vega School, and Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography), invites students to apply for the Loeries Creative Future Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year. The scholarship supports aspiring creatives pursuing studies at Red & Yellow campuses in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban.

- Copywriting
- Digital Marketing
- Marketing
- Photography
- Visual Communication
Scholarship Coverage:
The scholarship covers the following expenses:
- Tuition fees
- Study materials
- Laptop
- Travel allowance
Recipients will also benefit from mentorship, internships, and potential employment opportunities within the advertising and brand communications industry.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:
- Completed Matric or currently in Matric
- Interested in studying toward a Degree or Higher Certificate in the specified fields
- Not completed any qualification after Matric
- Intending to study at a Red & Yellow campus in Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Durban in 2024-2025
- Interested in pursuing a career in the Advertising or Marketing field
- Demonstrated potential and talent in creative arts and/or design (e.g., writing, design, photography, animation, film, drawing)
- In need of financial support
How to Apply:

- Attach copies of the following supporting documents to your email:
- Signed and completed Loeries Creative Future Scholarship Mentor Form from a mentor or educator
- Curriculum Vitae/Resume
Note: If you are shortlisted for the award, further documents will be requested.
Closing Date:
The closing date for the Loeries Scholarship is 12 November. Ensure you apply before the deadline as late applications will not be accepted.
