Mukuru Bursary 2024-2025:
The Mukuru Education Trust is offering bursaries for the year 2024-2025 in the following fields:
- Business Analysis
- Software Architecture
- Software Development Management
- Software Quality Assurance
- Software Development
- Information Technology Engineers
A total of 14 bursaries will be awarded, each with a maximum value of R80,000. These bursaries will cover the expenses of textbooks and tuition fees.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified between December 19, and January 3. Interviews for shortlisted candidates may be conducted between January 9 and January 14. The winners of the bursaries will be announced on January 25.
Eligibility Criteria:
Before applying for the Mukuru Bursary 2024-2025, candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility requirements:
- The candidate should have completed the Matric examination and achieved an average of 70%, along with a Bachelor’s Pass in the examination.
- The applicant must achieve an overall percentage of 65% at the tertiary level.
- The applying candidate must be pursuing a full-time course in one of the aforementioned fields.
- The candidate must be in their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of study and registered at an accredited and recognized South African tertiary educational institution (university or university of technology).
- The applicant should not be a Mukuru employee and should require financial assistance.
- The applying candidate must agree to the terms and conditions of the Mukuru Education Trust Fund.
