About SAFCOL (South African Forestry Company Limited):

SAFCOL, which stands for South African Forestry Company Limited, is responsible for managing forestry operations in various provinces of South Africa and in parts of Mozambique. It is the third-largest state-owned corporation in South Africa and plays a significant role in ensuring the sustainable management of forests and related assets within the SAFCOL Group.

SAFCOL Bursary 2024-2025:

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to qualify for the SAFCOL bursary for 2024-2025:

  • Must be a resident of South Africa.
  • Must have completed or be in the process of completing high school.
  • Must be pursuing a degree in one of the specified disciplines on a full-time basis in 2024-2025.
  • Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a South African higher education institution recognized and accredited by the relevant authorities.
  • Must meet the admission requirements of the chosen institution.
  • Priority will be given to applicants from communities near SAFCOL plantations, socially associated with SAFCOL, students with disabilities, female students, and previously disadvantaged students.
