SAFCOL is offering bursaries for the academic year 2024-2025, providing an opportunity for students to apply for financial support. The bursary covers various expenses, including registration fees, learning materials (e.g., textbooks), tuition fees, meals, accommodation facilities, and a fixed stipend for each semester. It’s important to note that bursary recipients are required to work for SAFCOL for a specified period after graduation, equal to the duration for which they received the bursary.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to qualify for the SAFCOL bursary for 2024-2025:
- Must be a resident of South Africa.
- Must have completed or be in the process of completing high school.
- Must be pursuing a degree in one of the specified disciplines on a full-time basis in 2024-2025.
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a South African higher education institution recognized and accredited by the relevant authorities.
- Must meet the admission requirements of the chosen institution.
- Priority will be given to applicants from communities near SAFCOL plantations, socially associated with SAFCOL, students with disabilities, female students, and previously disadvantaged students.
