About Talksure:
Talksure is an independent financial services provider and contact centre that was established in 2010. The company serves both the South African and international markets and is known for managing distribution, outsource solutions, customer care queries, and offering bespoke products and services. Talksure operates its single-site customer contact center in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.
About the Talksure Bursary Program:
Talksure is offering bursaries for the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. The bursaries are available for students pursuing various fields of study at the undergraduate, postgraduate, or honors levels. The eligible fields of study include:
- Data Science/Data Analyst
- Financial Planning (Loss Adjustor)
- Information Technology
- Insurance, Risk, Finance, Investments, Economics (B Com/B Admin)
- Law Degree (with specialization in Financial Planning, Insurance, or Pension Fund)
- Marketing
Bursary Coverage:
The Talksure Bursary Program covers the following expenses:
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Accommodation at an approved university residence
The bursary award is capped at R85,000 for University of Technology students and R95,000 for university students.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the Talksure Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:
- South African citizenship
- Age between 18 and 35 years old
- Completion of Matric
- Full-time enrollment in one of the specified fields
- Completion of one or more years of study
- Registration and study at a recognized and accredited public tertiary institution (university or university of technology) in South Africa
- Excellent academic record
How to Apply:

Along with the online application, applicants should submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Academic records/transcripts for the 2023 and 2024 academic year (on the institution’s letterhead)
- Proof of tertiary registration, including semester 2 (on the institution’s letterhead)
- Official fee statement for the 2025-2026 academic year
- Quotation of prescribed textbooks or invoice if already purchased (semester 2 books only)
- Proof of residency from your institution
All documents must have been certified within the last 6 months, and they should be submitted in PDF format.
Closing Date:
The closing date for bursary applications is July 8. Applicants should ensure that they apply before the closing date to have their applications considered.
