About Tastic
Tastic is a renowned rice brand that has been offering Parboiled Rice products in South Africa since 1961. It is a subsidiary of Tiger Brands and offers various types of rice, including long-grain rice, rice from around the world, wild and brown rice rich in nutrients and vitamins, and flavored rice with added spices.
Tastic Bursary Programme
Tastic is providing an opportunity for students to receive financial support for their studies through its bursary programme.
- The bursary will be awarded to 60 selected students, each receiving an amount of R25,000.
- The bursary amount is intended to cover tuition fees for students studying at any recognized university or college in South Africa.
Important Notes:
- The 60 bursary recipients will be selected randomly, and winners will be notified via telephone within a week of the draw.
- If the selected winner cannot be contacted, the promoter reserves the right to award the bursary to another candidate.
- By entering the competition, candidates agree to participate in promotional campaigns and allow their names to be used for advertising or promotion under the Tastic brand.
- Selected candidates may be required to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity before receiving the award.
- Personal information, including email address, full name, passport/ID number, and proof of college registration, will be required from selected candidates.
Eligibility Criteria for the Tastic Bursary
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Tastic Bursary:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Cannot be a juristic person.
- Must be enrolled at a recognized university within South Africa.
- Must not hold a position (director, consultant, employee) at the Tiger Brands Group of Companies or be related to the company in any form (spouse, family member, business partner, supplier).

Closing Date of the Tastic Bursary
