About Tech-Capital:
Tech-Capital is a wholly-owned Black company established in 2018, located in Centurion, South Africa. The company’s mission is to provide expertise to the economy while simultaneously empowering the youth and meeting Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) imperatives. Tech-Capital is involved in various business activities, including IT consultancy services, coaching and mentoring, bursary administration, Oracle and Microsoft training, and land transportation services. Their main mission is to ensure their customers’ businesses flourish and grow by going the extra mile and understanding each customer’s needs and expectations.
About the Tech-Capital Bursary Program:
Tech-Capital invites students living with disabilities to apply for their bursary program for the 2025-2026 academic year. The bursary is intended for students pursuing undergraduate IT (Information Technology) qualifications who require financial assistance.
Bursary Coverage:
The Tech-Capital bursary will cover the costs as shown on the University Tuition Statement, and no other expenses will be covered.
Eligibility Criteria for the Tech-Capital Bursary:
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
- South African citizenship
- Born in South Africa
- Black (African, Coloured, or Indian)
- Living with a disability, registered with and recognized by the Disability Rights Unit
- Studying toward an IT qualification (undergraduate only)
- Studying at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa
- Minimum overall average of 65% aggregate (or 65% in Matric if in the first year of study)
How to Apply for the Tech-Capital Bursary:
To apply for the Tech-Capital Bursary, follow these steps:
- Download and complete the Tech-Capital Bursary Application Form 2025-2026 (PDF).
- Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed bursary application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory; if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):
- Your personal details: full name and surname, qualification you are studying towards, and your year of study
- ID document (certified copy)
- Proof of disability (medical doctor’s note)
- Proof of university registration for your current year of study
- Latest Fee Statement (on the institution’s letterhead)
- Latest Academic Report (on the institution’s letterhead)
- Email your completed application form and supporting documents to: bmahlangu@tech-capital.co.za. Please insert “Tech-Capital Bursary Application 2025-2026” in the email subject line.
Closing Date for the Tech-Capital Bursary:
The application deadline for the Tech-Capital Bursary is 31 January, at 17:00. Late applications will not be accepted, so ensure you apply before the closing date to be considered.
