ABOUT THE COMPANY – TIBER CONSTRUCTION

Tiber Construction is a leading company in the construction and private property sector. It was founded by Paolo Rivera in 1951 and is now a respected leader in the industry. The company prides itself on its hands-on approach to fulfilling client needs with top-notch property solutions.

Tiber Construction offers a wide range of services in the construction and property industry, including Full Turnkey Solutions, Property Development and Management, Traditional Building Contracts for Clients, and Client Partnering. Since the inception of the Tiber Construction Bursary program, the company has assisted 24 students in obtaining their qualifications in the industry, and these students are now full-time employees of the group, demonstrating the company’s commitment to supporting the industry’s youth.

MORE ABOUT THE TIBER CONSTRUCTION BURSARY PROGRAMME – COVERAGE, SELECTION PROCESS & SERVICE CONTRACT

The Tiber Construction bursary covers the following expenses: tuition fees, examination fees, prescribed books, residence, and a monthly stipend. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to attend an interview. They will be required to bring their original ID copy and academic records. If applicants do not hear back from Tiber Construction, they should consider their application as unsuccessful. After graduation, bursary recipients will be required to join Tiber Construction, and practical work opportunities will be offered based on the company’s current opportunities.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TIBER CONSTRUCTION BURSARY

To be eligible for the Tiber Construction bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • South African citizenship
  • Completed Matric
  • Full-time enrollment in one of the construction-related fields of study mentioned above
  • Completed the 1st year or later of study (funding from the 2nd year onward)
  • Achieved a minimum result of 60% for 2023 studies
  • Studying at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE TIBER CONSTRUCTION BURSARY

To apply for the Tiber Construction bursary, follow these steps:

  1. Download and complete the Tiber Construction Bursary Application Form 2024-2025 (PDF).
  2. Fill out the application form sections, including personal details, parents/guardians’ details, education history, references, working experience (if applicable), and career goals.
  3. Submit clear copies of the following supporting documents along with your completed application form:
  • South African ID document (certified copy)
  • Matric certificate (certified copy)
  • Full tertiary academic record, including high school and university results (certified copy)

Applicants must submit their December final results as soon as they are available, either by email or hand delivery.

CLOSING DATE FOR THE TIBER CONSTRUCTION BURSARY

The Tiber Construction bursary scheme provides financial support to qualifying candidates who wish to study full time in the field of construction. Funding support is provided for tuition, residence and book fees.

Our bursary programme currently supports students in their studies in the fields of Civil Engineering and BSC Construction. Our students attend a minimum of 6 weeks vac/practical work experience per annum before being inducted into the working world of Building & Construction.

Since the inception of our bursary scheme, We’ve had a few students who have qualified in their respective fields of study, and are now employed full-time by the company.
