About the Volkswagen Bursary Program:

The Volkswagen Bursary Program provides financial support to students pursuing specific fields of study in South Africa. Bursaries are awarded in various fields, including Business Studies, Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Mathematics, and Science. The bursary covers tuition fees, prescribed books, accommodation, and transport.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria to be eligible for the Volkswagen Bursary Program:

  • South African citizenship
  • Completion of Matric
  • Pursuing studies in one of the specified fields
  • Enrolled at a recognized South African tertiary institution
  • High academic achievement in the previous year of study
  • Preference given to students from Uitenhage and surrounding areas and those in financial need

  3. Submit clear copies of the required supporting documents along with your online application:
    • ID document (certified copy)
    • Matric certificate (certified copy)
    • Full tertiary academic record (on tertiary institution letterhead)
    • Curriculum Vitae
    • Parents/guardians’ ID documents (certified copies)
    • Proof of household income for parents/guardians (latest payslips or bank statements if employed, affidavit if unemployed, death certificate if deceased)
    • Proof of residence (if residing within Uitenhage or surrounding areas)

Closing Date:

The application deadline for the Volkswagen Bursary Program is July 31st annually. Ensure that you submit your application before the closing date to be considered.
