Selection Criteria
Applicants will be shortlisted after the closing date. If you do not receive any feedback within one month of the closing date, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this bursary, you must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Reside within the Bushbuckridge Local Municipality area, in Mpumalanga
- Have completed Matric
- Be entering your 1st year of full-time study, within one of the fields listed above.
- Be accepted to study at an accredited higher education institution in South Africa
- Be from a disadvantaged and indigent family and in financial need
Application Process
Interested applicants can collect the application forms from the Bushbuckridge Local Municipality.
Along with the completed application form, applicants must submit clear copies of essential documents such as ID document or birth certificate, Matric certificate, proof of acceptance at a higher education institution, proof of indigent status or household income, proof of residence, and proof of disability (if applicable).
Applications can be submitted by post or hand delivery to specified addresses, but email or fax submissions will not be accepted.
The deadline for applications is 28th January. Please make sure to submit your application before the closing date.
