About the Columbus Stainless Bursary Program:
Columbus Stainless invites students residing in the local areas of Middelburg/Witbank to apply for their bursary program for the 2024-2025 academic year. The bursaries are awarded for undergraduate degree studies in the following fields:
- Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology (BEng/BSc)
- Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc)
- Industrial Engineering (BEng/BSc)
- Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc)
- Metallurgy/Material Sciences/Chemical Engineering (BEng/BSc)

Eligibility Requirements for the Columbus Stainless Bursary:
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
- South African citizenship
- Residing in Middelburg/Witbank, Mpumalanga province
- Currently in Matric during the 2023 academic year
- Intending to study full-time toward an undergraduate degree in one of the specified fields
- Starting the first year of study in 2024-2025
- Provisionally accepted at a South African university
- Strong academic record with a minimum overall average of 70%
