ABOUT THE TAUSADI BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & COVERAGE VALUE
TauSadi Mining and Engineering is offering bursaries to students pursuing studies in the Engineering sector, particularly in core mining disciplines. The bursaries are available for the academic year and are specifically aimed at students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study in the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
The bursary covers various expenses, including:
- Tuition fees

- Meals

- A monthly allowance
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TAUSADI BURSARY
To qualify for the TauSadi bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Reside in the Emalahleni area in Mpumalanga province or surrounding areas
- Be between 19 and 25 years old
- Have completed Matric
- Be studying full-time toward one of the specified qualifications
- Be in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study
- Be enrolled at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE TAUSADI BURSARY
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for the TauSadi bursary by submitting clear copies of the following supporting documents:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Full tertiary record to date/academic transcripts (on the institution’s letterhead)
- Proof of tertiary registration (on the institution’s letterhead)
- Proof of address/affidavit
