WBHO Bursary 2024-2025
BURSARY
Students who wish to apply for a bursary for financial assistance during the course of their undergraduate degree. Individuals applying should be enrolled at a recognized university.
Bursaries for the following disciplines are accepted:
- Bsc / BEng Civil Engineering
- Bsc Quantity Surveying
- Bsc Construction Management
VACATION WORK
Students who wish to apply for vacation work during the holiday period should currently be registered at a recognized university and practical training is a requirement of the qualification, usually to be completed for 6 weeks and/or 180 hours. Please note vacation work is provided to external students should there be availability to accommodate students on a site.
Vacation work for the following disciplines / qualifications are accepted:
- BEng / Bsc Civil Engineering
- Bsc Quantity Surveying
- Bsc Construction Studies / Construction Management
IN-SERVICE TRAINING
Students applying for in-service training should be enrolled at a Technikon university and are required to do practical training for 6-24 months to complete their qualification. Please note in-service training is provided should there be availability to accommodate students on a site.
In-service training for the following disciplines / qualifications are accepted:
- National Diploma – Civil Engineering
- National Diploma – Building Science
- National Diploma- Construction
- National Diploma – Surveying
GRADUATES
Individuals applying for a graduate position have completed their qualification and are in search of entry level employment. Graduates relevant to the construction industry are encouraged to apply. Please note placement is not guaranteed and is based on a need basis.
VACANCIES
Individuals who wish to apply for any vacancies that may be available within WBHO.
Applicants in response to advertised positions.
Positions are not limited to construction related occupations.
Experienced applicants.
