About the Aveng Grinaker-LTA Bursary Program
Aveng Grinaker-LTA seeks young, talented students who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and practical skills. Preference will be given to students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
The bursary program supports students pursuing degree qualifications in the following fields:
- Quantity Surveying
- Construction Management
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
Coverage Value
The Aveng Grinaker-LTA bursary covers the following expenses:
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Accommodation
- Monthly allowance to assist with living expenses
Recipients of the bursary will be required to undertake vacation work during university holidays.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:
- South African citizenship or permanent residency
- Completion of Matric
- Full-time enrollment in one of the specified fields of study
- Acceptance at a recognized South African university or university of technology
- Pass in Mathematics and Science in Matric
- Maintain a minimum overall average of 65%
