ABOUT THE AIR PRODUCTS BURSARY PROGRAM
Air Products South Africa (Pty) Limited, established in 1969, is a leading manufacturer, supplier, and distributor of various types of gases in Southern Africa. They serve a wide range of industries, including construction, energy, agriculture, mining, transportation, healthcare, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and more. FIELDS COVERED
Air Products South Africa is offering bursaries for the 2025-2026 academic year in the following fields at the National Diploma or Undergraduate Degree level:
- Engineering
- Finance
- Management Sciences
- Natural Sciences
- Operations/Production
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for the Air Products Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be accepted, registered, and pursuing a National Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in one of the specified fields of study.
- Be studying at a recognized and accredited South African university.
- Have achieved a minimum overall average of 65% for the 2022 academic year.
- Have a total combined household income of not more than R450,000 per annum before deductions.
HOW TO APPLY
To apply for the Air Products Bursary, eligible students should submit clear copies of the following documentation:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate or latest tertiary academic transcripts (certified copy)
- Proof of registration at the university (on university letterhead)
- Full statement or bill of costs for tuition fees from the university (on university letterhead)
- Proof of textbook costs
- Proof of residence costs if applicable
- A brief motivational letter
- An affidavit confirming your total combined household income
There is no specific application form to complete. Applicants should submit the required documents to their university’s Financial Aid office.
CLOSING DATE
The closing date for applications for the Air Products Bursary is 31 May 2025-2026. Be sure to submit your application before this date, as late applications will not be considered.
