Sasseta Bursary South Africa 2025-2026
In today’s economic climate, many individuals lack the opportunity to further their education and enhance their skill sets. SASSETA (Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority) aims to bridge this gap by partnering with public universities and universities of technology (registered with DHET) to offer full bursaries. These bursaries enable learners to complete formal qualifications, thereby transforming their lives through education and skills development, leading to learnerships, internships, or full-time employment.
Bursary Programmes for the “Missing Middle”
As of the 2019/2020 financial year, SASSETA is working on establishing parameters to issue bursaries to the “Missing Middle.” In collaboration with universities and universities of technology, the details will be finalized soon.
